Banana Peels and Sunscreen

Life comes at you fast. Since it's been over a month since our last post we've got a lot to talk about. First of all a big congratulations is in order for a few new members of our family: Mason and Kaden! Liz and Micah Odahlen had their new baby boy Mason on June 27th and Claire and Brian Saville had their new baby boy Kaden today! We are excited to have more nephews!

June began with Craig joining the Hawaiian Martin clan. He decided to trade in his Portland rainclouds for the beaches and sun of Hawaii... No it wasn't a hard choice. It turns out Craig is a wonderful pack mule and dish washer that we thought we would never have! But honestly it's been great having him here to help Joel with his business as he is busier than ever.

We also celebrated Joels birthday in June. The big quarter century! I have been really bad at taking pictures recently so this is the best one I could find of his birthday. Happy Birthday Joel!

With the wedding season in full swing I was dying for a vacation away from Bridezillas and angry mothers. Joel and Craig were also ready to turn in their pants for boardshorts. So...We headed to Maui for the 4th of July to meet up with family.

The best thing that can be said about our trip is that we got to spend some quality time with family. It was a short trip but we managed to have a lot of fun. Check out the pics.
