I think the best reaction was the one I got from my mom. Here's how I told her:
(Over the phone)
Hi Mom.
Hey sweetie how are you?
I'm okay...(sounding sad).
Whats wrong?
Well, I've been feeling really sick recently and I finally gave in and went to the doctor today and they found something so I'm going to have to start doing all this stuff and seeing the doctor a lot more.
*Silence* *Worried Silence*
They found a baby!
*Screaming* Excited Screaming for over 5 minutes*
It was excellent. I couldn't tell her flat our cause thats just not fun. Pregnancy is nothing like on the movies! Morning sickness is not morning sickness. Its ALL DAY sickness! But hopefull that ends soon. Our due date...March 3, 2009.

Congrats! We are so excited for you guys. Try asking your doctor for anti-nausea medicine, it REALLY makes a difference. Hope you get to feeling better, and remember it usually goes away at about fourteen weeks!!
